Packaging design is where it all started for Collective Creative. And whilst we’ve stayed relatively small in comparison to many other packaging design agencies, our clients have got bigger and bigger.
Our reputation for excellent service and quality at an affordable price has enabled us to create exciting and high-end packaging artwork for new products endorsed by celebrity chefs such as Raymond Blanc and Gordon Ramsay as well as working extensively with big name brands such as Weight Watchers, Yoplait and Walkers Shortbread.
3D Mock-Ups
When we create packaging designs, we work on flat, 2D layouts. But sometimes it’s useful for our clients to get an idea of what their design will look when it’s assembled and before it goes off to print. Three-dimensional packaging mock-ups can also prove necessary for the different stages of product development including concept design, research and testing. For new products, our 3D mock-ups can be used to advertise the product through various marketing platforms before it has even reached the supermarket shelf.
Research Boards
If you’re developing a product for market, we can breathe life into a concept through the creation of research boards. They can be used in various stages of the development process from illustrating design variations to providing the appropriate visual tools for test marketing.
Artworking
If you’re looking to create new versions of existing product labelling or packaging, our competent artworking services can help get your designs ready for print. We can make small but significant changes – adjusting cutter guides and bleed as well as working with the layers to make sure all components are best formatted for the print stage.
Styling Guidelines
Detailed styling guidelines are a great way to ensure that no matter who’s in charge, all packaging for products sold under your name will remain visually aligned with your brand. We have extensive experience working with large household brands to establish and deliver these guidelines. We recently created the latest packaging guidelines for Weight Watchers, published as the recommended style guide for all licensees to follow.
Studio Work
Our studio work involves capturing the photographic elements present on the pack. Following the photoshoot, we work on the images to produce compositions that will complement the other design elements and encourage the customer to take a closer look.
