At the beginning of 2014, ITTC asked Collective to design packaging for a new range of serveware to be endorsed by the renowned French Chef and Michelin-starred restaurant owner, Raymond Blanc. The dishes were designed with vegetables fresh from Raymond Blanc’s garden at Le Manoir in mind. The product line was named ‘from my garden’ and the client was looking to reflect a similar organic theme throughout the packaging to compliment the range.

We decided on a simple and fresh palette of green and white, allowing Raymond Blanc’s red circle logo and brand to stand out against the more natural use of colour. A fine green outline of the technical drawings of each item was used against the crisp white background to acknowledge the origin of the design and add extra detail.

Whilst the opposite sides of the packaging continued the green and white theme, the inversion of the colour scheme allowed the clean, modern white lines of the ceramic serveware to stand out against the veggie green background.

For the images, we were invited to photograph the serving plates and dishes exquisitely filled with creations from the Manoir kitchen. Both parties were extremely pleased with the results of the photo shoot the food not only tasted delicious but looked absolutely sublime.
